Billy aka Big Billy, and Billy Bob is a Morgan Percheron mix and is 14 years old. Billy came to HoH in July 2016. He is approximately 16.2 hands high and his color is Bay-Roan. Anyone that has met Billy has fallen in love with him, by just looking in his eyes. His eyes tells his personality right through to his heart. He is a big guy and some say his hooves are like saucers, but his personality is of a gentle giant.
Billy is used in all aspects of HoH. Lessons, ground work, grooming. He has adjusted well to the herd and is happy just being himself.
Jazz aka Jazzy aka Mister aka Jazz Man is a 22 year old Sorrel Quarter Horse gelding. Jazz is approximately 15.3 hands high and has as big of personality as he is round. But don’t tell him you think he is fat. Jazz has been with Horses of Hope the longest out of all the members of our herd. He is used everyday we have lessons and all he asks for in return is a little trail ride once in awhile and some hay.
Hotrod is a 15 year old Quarter Horse gelding. Hotrod is new to the program and loving every minute of it. He is full of personality and loves to be groomed and loves doing his job. He has been a Western Pleasure Show horse, but has decided to retire and help the participants at Horses of Hope.
Ranger is a 2 year old Colorado Rangerbred Appy. He is adorable and cute all in one. Ranger was donated to Heroes & Horses by a local Veteran. Ranger is full of personality and ready to work. He is young and lots to learn, but he is eager to please. Welcome to the farm Ranger
